WOODBRIDGE-The following is the graduating class and information for the Woodbridge High School class of 1933:
Graduation was held on June 20th in the high school auditorium. “Pomp and Circumstances” was played by the Woodbridge High School Orchestra. Invocation was by Rev. Edward R. Welles, Welcome by Craig T. Senft, Trio was violin-Kenneth Morris, cello-Elizabeth Trautwein and piano, Frank Fedora. The song “Calm As The Night” was sung by the senior class. “Taxing Our Patience” by Adolph Boehm, “The New College Girl” by Florence Boylan and a piano solo “Rustle of Spring” by Edna Geigel.
Presentation of Class to Board of Education was John H Love, Supervising Principal of School, presentation of diplomas was by the President of the Board of Education, Maurice Dunigan and Award of Prizes was by Principal Arthur Ferry
Class Song, Words, Jennie Markow, Edna Geigel and Harriet Short with music by Edna Geigel. The Farewell was by Irma Deter.
The graduates of the Scientific Courses were: George Acton, Russell Anderson, Adolph Boehm, Carl Christophersen, William cooper, Howard Galbraith, William Haug, Henry Iselberg, Peter Katt, John Lucas, Frank Miller, Edward Nahass, Andrew Nelson, Raymond Quadt, Frank Salagi, Paul Sandorff and Craig Senft.

The faculty for 1933 were the English teachers: Verna Warlock, Kent Pease, Ruth Holden, Florence Robinson, A. Alida Van Slyke, Margaret Morganson and Elizabeth Ryan History teachers were: Martha Morris, Ruth Erb, Spencer Drummond, Thomas Desmond and Frank Kirkleski who was also the Athletic Coach. Stephen Werlock was the Social Sciences teacher. Mathematics was taught by: Harry Sechrist, Henry Beecher and Jeanette Melick. Sara FitzGerald taught Latin and French, Karl Metzger; German, and Science teachers were: Edmund Dougherty, Alex Nelson, Joseph Ruggieri and Robert Mulvaney. Commercial teachers were: Donald Westcott, Alice Robinson, Eleanor Walsh, LaMont Ingraham and Alice Trainer. LLewellyn Holden taught Art, Anna Frazer; music, James McElroy; Manual Training, Rosemary Matthews; Physical Training and Grace Huber was the Librarian. Theodore
Hoops was the Band Master and Marie Dunigan the secretary.
The Board Of Education in 1933 was: Maurice Dunigan President, Roy Anderson; Vice President and Everett Ensign was Secretary. Other members were: Morrison Christie, Williard Dunham, James Filer, Ernest Moffett and Mark McClain. John H. Love was the Supervising Principal and Irene Shay, Secretary.
