Fishing Champ—Brandon Hodges of Sunnyside Park won the Outdoorsman Award for catching the largest fish in the Linden Public Property and Community Services Award annual fishing derby at Wilson Park. The award is named after George “Butchie” Scoles, a member of the Public Property and Community Services who recently passed away. Scoles was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing. Presenting the award to Hodges are Scoles’ parents, wife and family.
