Newspapers In Education—Linden School No. 5 students learned about the importance of a newspaper through the celebration of Newspapers in Education month. The real-world connection supported by the use of newspapers helps students understand the importance of the information that they are learning. The children worked in pairs and were asked to find various items in the newspaper through a scavenger hunt.
