PAL And Recreation Co-Sponsor Trip To Shea—On June 25, Section 32 at Shea Stadium belonged to Rahway PAL and Rahway Recreation. The groups co-sponsored a trip to see the New York Mets play in their last season at Shea. The trip was a huge success and sold out almost as fast as it was advertised. Jose Reyes added a three-run homer and John Maine didn’t allow a hit until Jeremy Reed singled leading off the fifth inning. The Mets ended the night with an 8-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners. Everyone had a great time and is looking forward to a similar trip to Yankee Stadium later this summer.

RAHWAY—On Saturday, May 24, Rahway PAL hosted its annual Memorial Day picnic for players, and their families and friends. The day was filled with good food and lots of fun and activities. Our guests were treated to a 65-foot obstacle coarse, bungee basketball, a batting station, and other traditional picnic games.
